The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that all private sector employees in the UAE will receive a paid holiday from May 26 to May 29, 2026, in observance of Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha.
The ministry stated that the decision aligns with the UAE Cabinet resolution on approved official public holidays, ensuring uniformity across the private sector in marking religious and national occasions.
The extended holiday period allows employees to observe the spiritual significance of Eid Al Adha and Arafat Day, while also providing time for rest, family gatherings, and celebrations across the country.
