UAE President Meets Morocco’s King Mohammed VI on Private Visit

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco during their meeting in Morocco

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today met with His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco during a private visit by His Highness to the country, underscoring the deep-rooted ties and longstanding partnership between the two nations.

During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the strong fraternal relations that have long united the UAE and Morocco and discussed ways to further expand cooperation across a range of sectors, particularly those related to development, economic growth, investment, and sustainable progress. They explored opportunities to build on existing partnerships and deepen collaboration in support of the shared aspirations of both countries and their peoples.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and His Majesty King Mohammed VI emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen bilateral relations and advancing joint initiatives that contribute to mutual prosperity, development, and stability. They reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close consultation and coordination on issues of common interest, reflecting the strategic nature of UAE-Morocco relations.

The discussions also addressed a number of regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the situation in the Middle East and its implications for regional peace, security, and stability. The two leaders exchanged views on ongoing challenges facing the region and stressed the importance of supporting efforts aimed at promoting dialogue, de-escalation, and peaceful solutions to conflicts.

The meeting reflected the shared determination of both countries’ leadership to further enhance cooperation and coordination, while reinforcing the strong bonds of friendship and mutual respect that characterize relations between the UAE and Morocco.
