Miral, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, has unveiled two new DC-themed attractions at the award-winning Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
The new additions—‘Kryptonite Collider’, scheduled to open to the public on 26 July 2026, and ‘Superman Up and Away’—represent a significant step in the continued expansion of Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi.
‘Superman Up and Away’, expected to be completed in 2028, will be a next-generation flying roller coaster designed to recreate the sensation of flight. Riders will be launched face-down alongside Superman on a mission to defend Metropolis, with further details to be revealed later.
Jonathan Brown, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral, said the new DC-themed attractions mark an important milestone in the evolution of Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, enhancing its world-class entertainment offering. He noted that the initiative reflects the strong partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery and supports their shared goal of delivering immersive experiences that strengthen Yas Island’s position as a leading global entertainment destination and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s status as a premier tourism hub.
Simon Robinson, President of Global Experiences & Studio Operations at Warner Bros. Discovery, added that the new attractions demonstrate the company’s continued focus on innovation and storytelling. He said the collaboration with Miral is ushering in an exciting new chapter for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, with the aim of offering fans a fresh and dynamic way to experience the world of Metropolis.
Set to open in July, ‘Kryptonite Collider’ will be an immersive, high-energy centrifuge ride located in the Metropolis zone of the park. The experience begins in the queue, where guests are introduced as “test subjects” for Lex Luthor’s Everyman Project through themed pre-show content.
Once aboard the 32-seat ride vehicle, participants will be propelled through a vortex of motion, enhanced by onboard audio and lighting effects that intensify the experience. After the ride, guests will encounter interactive digital elements designed to simulate a taste of superhuman abilities.
Since its launch, Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi has delivered a wide range of immersive entertainment experiences across its six themed lands. The addition of these two DC attractions further strengthens the park’s offering and enhances its appeal as a leading indoor theme park destination.
