Temporary Closure on North Road Near Al Kharaitiyat Interchange

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that one lane in each direction on the North Road near Al Kharaitiyat Interchange (N8) in Leabaib area close to IKEA will be closed in approximately 800-meter sections for one month starting Friday in order to carry out construction works of a bridge as part of the North Road enhancement project.

The number of lanes will be reduced from four to three in each direction and the traffic will be diverted to the three remaining lanes, which will remain open to traffic during the period of the construction period.

Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the diversion and the Authority urged road users to abide by the speed limits and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
