
Nvidia has entered into a series of artificial intelligence-focused partnerships with major South Korean technology companies to accelerate the development of AI infrastructure and strengthen data centre capabilities across the country.

The US-based chipmaker announced a collaboration with SK Telecom to establish a large-scale AI data centre in South Korea, with the first facility scheduled to become operational in 2027. The initiative is designed to support AI-driven services for businesses and industries nationwide, with plans to expand its reach into broader Asian markets.

Nvidia also signed a long-term agreement with SK Hynix to advance the development of next-generation memory technologies that are critical for AI applications and future semiconductor manufacturing.
Further collaborations were announced with Naver, Doosan and LG Group, covering areas such as AI data centres, energy technologies, robotics, physical AI and next-generation data centre innovations. In addition, Nvidia held discussions with Hyundai Motor Group on the use of AI in autonomous mobility solutions, manufacturing robotics and Hyundai’s planned AI Valley data centre development in Saemangeum.

The agreements were unveiled during a visit to South Korea by Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang. Financial details of the partnerships were not disclosed.
