Arada has begun handing over 138 newly completed apartments at its AED 35 billion Aljada megadevelopment in Sharjah, following the completion of construction on the two Il Teatro Residences buildings. This milestone marks the conclusion of residential delivery in Naseej District, Aljada’s creative hub, where more than 2,000 homes have now been handed over.
Located opposite Il Teatro, the striking performing arts venue designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the two Il Teatro Residences buildings provide residents with exclusive amenities including rooftop infinity pools, health clubs, and a variety of retail and dining outlets at ground level.
The development also introduces a selection of double-height loft apartments—an architectural first for Sharjah’s real estate sector. These units feature full-height glass façades, private terraces, and spacious living and dining areas. One-bedroom apartments have been designed with flexible layouts, incorporating movable partitions to allow for adaptable, multi-use living spaces.

With this handover, the total number of completed homes at Aljada has reached 9,000. It also signals the completion of construction in Naseej District, where 19 buildings, including the Vida Aljada Sharjah development, are now being delivered.
The announcement comes amid strong momentum in Sharjah’s real estate market, which recorded AED 18.5 billion in transactions in the first quarter of the year, reflecting a 41 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Spanning 24 million square feet, Aljada is Sharjah’s largest development and a major transformative project for the emirate. The master-planned community features multiple residential districts along with extensive retail, hospitality, entertainment, sports, education, and healthcare facilities, as well as the Arada Central Business District.
