Emrill Partners with Dubai Police to Advance Road Safety Awareness

Leading UAE integrated facilities management provider, Emrill, has reinforced its commitment to road safety through an ongoing collaboration with Dubai Police, supporting efforts to promote safer driving behaviours and enhance awareness of road safety responsibilities among its workforce.

The initiative forms part of Dubai Police’s Road Safety campaign and supports the wider Aman Roads Beyond Zero initiative, which promotes responsible driving behaviours and greater awareness of road safety across the UAE. It also aligns with Emrill’s Road to Zero programme, which is delivered in coordination with the organisation’s Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality, and Transport teams. Through the partnership, Dubai Police has delivered dedicated awareness sessions for Emrill drivers, providing practical guidance on safe driving practices, traffic regulations and the importance of complying with road safety laws.

Most recently, Dubai Police conducted a safe driving workshop at Emrill’s headquarters, bringing together 40 drivers from across the organisation, alongside members of Emrill’s management team. The session was delivered by a representative from Dubai Police Traffic Department and focused on strengthening drivers’ understanding of their responsibilities on the road and the role they play in protecting themselves, their passengers and other road users.

The interactive workshop included role-play activities and a question-and-answer session, enabling participants to engage directly with representatives from Dubai Police and gain further insight into road safety regulations and best practices.

The training focused on four key pillars, including Safe Speed, Safe Roads, Safe Vehicles and Safe People. Topics included speed awareness, hazard recognition, defensive driving techniques, vehicle safety inspections, the importance of regular maintenance, driver responsibility and fatigue management. The session also provided practical guidance on maintaining safe following distances, understanding driving procedures and applying safe driving principles in day-to-day operations.

The collaboration follows Dubai Police’s engagement with Emrill as part of its wider road safety campaign and Aman Roads Beyond Zero initiative. To date, two awareness sessions have been delivered in October 2025 and May 2026, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting road safety awareness and responsible driving behaviours.

The sessions build upon Emrill’s wider Road to Zero initiative, which continues to drive positive safety outcomes across the organisation. To date, 94 per cent of Emrill drivers have completed training covering Safe Speed, Safe Roads, Safe Vehicles and Safe People, while 96 per cent of targeted employees have completed a defensive driving course designed to equip them with the skills required to prioritise the safety of passengers and fellow road users.

Stuart Harrison, CEO of Emrill

Stuart Harrison, CEO of Emrill, said: “Safety is one of Emrill’s core values and remains central to everything we do. Our collaboration with Dubai Police provides an important opportunity for our drivers to learn directly from road safety specialists and further strengthen their understanding of responsible driving practices. We are proud to support initiatives that promote safer roads, protect our people and contribute positively to the communities in which we operate.”

A spokesperson for Dubai Police said: “Road safety is a shared responsibility, and awareness plays a vital role in creating safer roads for everyone. Through initiatives such as this, we aim to strengthen understanding of safe driving practices, encourage compliance with traffic regulations and promote behaviours that help protect drivers, passengers and the wider community. We appreciate the commitment shown by organisations such as Emrill in supporting road safety education and fostering a culture of responsibility among their employees.”

Through its ongoing collaboration with Dubai Police and continued investment in Road to Zero, Emrill remains committed to strengthening its safety culture, supporting employee wellbeing and promoting responsible driving practices across its workforce.
