
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has shown robust activity and liquidity, reflecting market resilience, deep investor participation, attractive dividend yields, and strong confidence.
From 4–6 March 2026, following a precautionary suspension, total trading reached AED4.8 billion. On 4 March, trades hit AED1.37 billion, up 12% from the 2025 daily average, with 496 million shares exchanged (+52%). Activity surged on 5 March with AED1.93 billion in trades, while 6 March saw AED1.55 billion executed across 364 million shares.
Institutional investors dominated trading, accounting for 76–80% of total activity, with foreign investors contributing 45–53%.
The momentum continued into the week of 9–11 March. Notably, on 10 March, ADX recorded a record 58,100 transactions worth AED3.45 billion, surpassing previous 2025 highs by 32% in volume and 49% in value.
This surge coincides with the start of the cash dividend season, with 17 companies and ETFs announcing nearly AED16 billion in dividends so far, boosting the market’s appeal to investors.
