Since taking the helm at Beyon in August 2024, Andrew Kvålseth has led one of the region’s most deliberate telecoms-to-technology transformations. Under his leadership, Beyon launched Bahrain’s first AI-ready Sovereign HyperCloud, powered by Oracle Alloy and supporting over 200 AI services while keeping all government data within the Kingdom. The group has also deployed Orryx AI, an AI-driven cybersecurity platform that moves security from human-dependent models to machine-speed resilience.
With $3.4 billion in total assets and operations across Bahrain, Jordan, the Maldives and the Channel Islands, Beyon now positions itself as an AI-driven technology group with connectivity as its foundation. Kvålseth previously held senior roles at Schibsted, Ooredoo and Telenor Group.
