Nasdaq Dubai recorded a landmark year in 2025, with Sukuk listings surpassing US$100 billion, driven by strong regional and international issuer participation and continued global investor demand for Sharia-compliant debt.
By year-end, total outstanding debt across Nasdaq Dubai and Dubai Financial Market reached US$150.9 billion, with Nasdaq Dubai contributing US$146.1 billion. The exchange saw US$30.6 billion in new debt listings across 60 issuances, including debut listings from Ajman Bank, OMNIYAT, Mashreq, China Development Bank, and the New Development Bank.
Sovereign, corporate, and financial institution issuers continued to diversify the market, offering Sukuk, conventional bonds, sustainability-linked, and ESG-focused instruments. Nasdaq Dubai’s ESG-linked debt portfolio grew to US$30.08 billion, including green, sustainability, sustainability-linked, and blue bonds.

Chairman Abdul Wahed Al Fahim noted that surpassing US$100 billion in Sukuk reflects strong global confidence and positions Dubai as a trusted hub for Islamic finance and fixed income. CEO Hamed Ali added that Nasdaq Dubai will continue expanding multi-currency, ESG, and Sukuk offerings, reinforcing its role as an international gateway for debt listings.
