MBRF will showcase its flagship knowledge initiatives and programmes during its participation
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) is set to participate in the London Book Fair 2026, one of the world’s premier gatherings for the publishing and knowledge sectors, scheduled to take place from 10 to 12 March at Olympia London in London.
The participation forms part of MBRF’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its international presence and expand strategic partnerships with leading global intellectual and knowledge institutions.
During the event, the foundation will highlight its role in strengthening the global knowledge ecosystem, supporting the production and dissemination of knowledge content, and contributing to international discussions on the future of knowledge. The initiative also aligns with the vision of the United Arab Emirates to position itself as a global hub for knowledge production, exchange and innovation.
At the fair, MBRF will showcase several of its key initiatives designed to promote intellectual development and innovation. These include the Dubai International Programme for Writing, KnowTalks, and the Future Skills Academy, all of which aim to equip individuals with advanced skills and expertise while encouraging creative and intellectual engagement.
The foundation will also present its work in developing global knowledge indices and implementing programmes that contribute to building sustainable knowledge societies.
As part of its participation, the ‘Knowledge Lounge’ will host a series of sessions featuring writers and experts. The programme includes discussions such as “The Arabic Book through Foreign Eyes” with publisher Haitham Hussein, “Poetry and the Nostalgia of Language” with poet Faie Nasser, and “Writing Away from Home” with novelist Hamdan Damaj, alongside a session exploring Arabic book clubs in the United Kingdom.
In addition, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award will host a panel discussion titled “Giving Knowledge a Global Impact: The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award.” The session will feature award recipient David M Clark and Nick Rawlins, a member of the award’s advisory board.
MBRF noted that this year’s participation offers an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation with international publishing houses, academic institutions and research centres, while encouraging knowledge exchange and exploring new collaborative initiatives that support the global knowledge industry.
