Judan Financial, a subsidiary of IHC, announced its first strategic investment, acquiring a 50.1% stake in US-based investment management firm Alpha Wave Global. This marks a key step in Judan’s plan to expand its global asset management presence and strengthen its position as a leading international investor in financial services.
Alpha Wave Global manages around USD 29 billion across private equity, private credit, public markets, and insurance, with 116 professionals in 11 offices worldwide. Its private equity platform focuses on AI-driven growth companies, including SpaceX, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Cerebras. The firm’s private credit and public market platforms provide senior loans and uncorrelated returns, respectively.
Alpha Wave will continue under its existing leadership, including Co-Founder and CEO Rick Gerson, and recently appointed former Miami Mayor Francis Suarez as President. The firm is also launching an AI-native life insurance and retirement solutions vertical, led by CEO Joe Norton, aiming to transform underwriting, distribution, and customer experience.
Mohamed Alsuwaidi, CEO of Judan Financial, highlighted Alpha Wave as a strategically aligned, globally recognized partner with strong AI-driven capabilities across multiple asset classes. Rick Gerson emphasized that Judan’s capital and global network will help Alpha Wave scale its platforms and back innovative companies worldwide.
This partnership represents a major milestone in Judan Financial’s goal to create a diversified, AI-enabled global financial services platform, combining Alpha Wave’s established capabilities with Judan’s long-term capital and institutional reach.
