The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources reported the issuance of 188 new industrial licenses in March 2026, alongside the launch of production in 78 factories during the same period, according to data from the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information.

The newly issued licenses are associated with projected investments exceeding SAR 1.81 billion and are expected to generate more than 1,721 job opportunities across various regions of the Kingdom. These approvals reflect continued momentum in industrial development and private sector participation in Saudi Arabia’s manufacturing base.
In parallel, the 78 factories that began operations in March attracted investments valued at approximately SAR 870 million and are anticipated to create around 1,492 additional jobs. The commencement of production in these facilities highlights ongoing progress in converting licensed industrial projects into operational assets, further supporting economic diversification and industrial growth objectives.
