Calidus Holding Group is taking part in the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference 2026 (DSA 2026), held from 20 to 23 April in Kuala Lumpur, as part of the UAE national pavilion.
The participation highlights the strong growth of the UAE’s defence sector and reinforces the Group’s position on the global defence stage, while promoting knowledge sharing, building partnerships, and presenting locally developed technologies to international audiences.
It also aligns with Calidus’ strategic focus on expanding into Southeast Asian markets and its broader ambition to grow within high-potential regions. The participation reflects the UAE leadership’s vision of developing an advanced defence industrial ecosystem built on innovation and local manufacturing, further strengthening national capabilities and positioning the UAE as a global hub for defence industries.
At the event, Calidus is presenting a range of integrated defence systems designed, developed, and manufactured in the UAE by skilled Emirati professionals, showcasing the Group’s advanced industrial and technological capabilities.
In the land systems segment, the display includes several platforms such as the Mezyad 001 vehicle, demonstrating mobility, operational readiness, and integration with modern weapons and sensor systems. Other exhibits include the Mezyad 005 multi-role vehicle, the Sweihan 8×8 armoured fighting vehicle, the MCAV multi-purpose vehicle, the Al Wahash combat vehicle, the Al Washag reconnaissance platform, and the LAHAB 155mm L52 artillery system.
In the maritime sector, Calidus is showcasing a model of the PV38 patrol vessel, designed for maritime security, surveillance, and coastal defence missions.
In aerospace, the Group is presenting the Badr-250 (B-250) light attack aircraft, designed for close air support missions, along with the B-250T training aircraft, developed to prepare pilots to high operational standards.
Also featured are advanced AlHeda missile system models, offering high precision targeting and enhanced operational performance to support defence readiness and rapid response capabilities.
Beyond showcasing products, Calidus’ participation underscores the capability of Emirati talent to develop world-class defence systems that meet modern operational demands with reliability and efficiency.
The Group also aims to strengthen its global footprint and expand strategic partnerships across Asia, support defence exports, and enhance collaboration with security and defence stakeholders.
Calidus will continue engaging with industry leaders at the exhibition to explore collaboration opportunities, present innovative solutions, and reinforce national supply chains that support self-reliance.
