Saudia Airlines has completed an agreement with Airbus to take delivery of 12 new aircraft in 2026, as part of its broader fleet expansion and modernization strategy aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and supporting long-term growth.
The programme is designed to enhance the airline’s operational performance, expand its international network, and improve the overall passenger experience across its services. By introducing next-generation aircraft, Saudia aims to increase capacity, improve fuel efficiency, and support the development of new routes to key global destinations.
The delivery plan includes the Airbus A321neo, which represents a significant milestone in Saudia’s 2026 fleet development roadmap. This follows the earlier introduction of the Airbus A321XLR, marking the airline’s continued transition toward a more modern and efficient narrow-body fleet.
Throughout 2026, Saudia is expected to receive additional aircraft as part of its ongoing investment in fleet renewal, reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence and service enhancement.
The expansion aligns with Saudi Arabia’s wider national strategies across aviation, tourism, entertainment, and sports, contributing to the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen connectivity, support inbound and outbound travel demand, and enhance services for pilgrims traveling for Hajj and Umrah.
