The Ministry of Economy and Planning has announced the beta launch of ‘INSAIGHTS’, an advanced agentic artificial intelligence tool integrated into the Data Saudi Platform, marking a significant step forward in transforming how users access, analyse and interact with national economic and social data.

Designed to provide a more intelligent and efficient data exploration experience, INSAIGHTS enables users to convert questions and requests into instant insights, analytics and data-driven responses. The tool supports informed decision-making by allowing users to interact with national datasets through a simplified digital interface, reducing the complexity traditionally associated with accessing and analysing large volumes of information.

The launch represents a major milestone in the continued development of the Data Saudi Platform, the Kingdom’s unified reference for economic and social data. Through INSAIGHTS, users can explore more than 7,500 indicators covering key sectors and areas of development, providing decision-makers, researchers, analysts, businesses and the public with faster access to reliable and comprehensive information.

By combining artificial intelligence capabilities with extensive national datasets, INSAIGHTS enhances the ability to identify trends, generate insights and support evidence-based decisions across various fields. The tool reflects the Ministry’s commitment to advancing digital innovation and strengthening the role of data as a strategic asset in economic and social development.

The launch aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program, supporting efforts to increase economic transparency, enhance digital capabilities and position the Kingdom as a global leader in data-driven innovation and artificial intelligence.

The Ministry of Economy and Planning continues to enhance the Data Saudi Platform by adopting emerging technologies and expanding digital services that improve user experience and provide more accessible, accurate and valuable insights for all beneficiaries.

As part of this ongoing development journey, the Ministry plans to further enhance INSAIGHTS’ capabilities and expand its functionalities in the coming months, ensuring that the platform continues to meet the evolving needs of users.
