President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a series of phone calls from a number of regional and international leaders, who strongly condemned the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilians, as well as civilian sites and facilities in the United Arab Emirates. The leaders described these attacks as a blatant violation of the UAE’s sovereignty and a serious threat to its security, stability, and the safety of its people.
During the calls, the leaders emphasized their firm rejection of such acts of violence, noting that targeting innocent civilians and vital infrastructure contradicts international law and undermines regional peace and security. They expressed deep concern over the implications of these attacks and stressed the importance of collective efforts to confront terrorism in all its forms.
His Highness received calls from His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, and His Excellency Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Each leader conveyed their personal support and extended their countries’ solidarity with the UAE during this time.
The leaders also affirmed their full backing for all measures undertaken by the UAE to safeguard its national security and preserve its stability. They underscored the importance of protecting civilians and ensuring the continued safety and well-being of all residents and citizens across the country.
In response, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his appreciation for the calls and the sentiments conveyed, highlighting the strength of the UAE’s relationships with its regional and international partners.
