AIREV has announced that Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, has taken on the role of Chairman of its Board of Directors. The UAE-based artificial intelligence company is the developer of OnDemand, a sovereign-grade agentic AI operating system designed and engineered in the UAE and deployed across global markets.
The appointment aligns AIREV’s leadership structure with the UAE’s national trade priorities, as the country continues to expand its footprint in high-value digital and AI-driven exports alongside strong non-oil trade growth.
Dr. Al Zeyoudi said the rise of AI companies such as AIREV represents the next phase of the UAE’s export strategy, which extends beyond goods and services to include homegrown technology and intellectual property. He highlighted AIREV’s sovereign platform and agentic solutions as examples of UAE-developed innovation entering advanced global markets, adding that he looks forward to supporting the company’s international expansion and contribution to national non-oil export targets.
AIREV entered the UAE ecosystem through the NextGen FDI initiative and was supported by Core42, a G42 company, in February 2024. Since then, it has developed into a production-grade agentic AI operating system with an estimated valuation of around US$200 million.
Its flagship product, OnDemand, is a low-code and no-code platform that enables the creation, deployment, and management of autonomous AI agents. Built for flexibility and sovereignty, it allows organisations—particularly governments and regulated enterprises—to maintain full control over their data, models, and infrastructure. The platform currently serves more than four million users globally and offers over 300 specialised AI agents in more than 50 languages.
Over the past year, AIREV has expanded its global reach through strategic partnerships across the AI and semiconductor industries. These include collaborations with Intel to optimise OnDemand for Intel processors and enable deployment on next-generation AI PCs, as well as a partnership with Tenstorrent to co-develop an advanced agentic AI stack for enterprise and sovereign use cases, including an Agentic AI Development Node in the UAE.
The company has also established a commercial presence in North America, combining product certification, hardware integration, and market registration to scale distribution internationally. In 2025, AIREV’s platforms processed over one trillion tokens, rising to 6.8 trillion in the second quarter of 2026 alone—reflecting rapid global adoption of its technology.
AIREV’s investor base includes Core42, VentureWave Capital, and Titian Capital, while it is also progressing through a Series A2 funding round. For distribution, the company has partnered with Redington, which will expand OnDemand’s reach across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and Europe from 2026 to 2027.
AIREV Founder and CEO Muhammad Khalid said the appointment strengthens the company’s global ambitions by aligning its growth with the UAE’s foreign trade strategy. He noted that the collaboration reinforces the vision of exporting UAE-developed AI solutions to international markets, demonstrating the global competitiveness of Emirati technology.
The company’s expansion reflects the UAE’s broader ambition under the We the UAE 2031 vision to transition from a technology importer to a global exporter of advanced digital solutions, with AIREV positioning itself as a key contributor to this shift.
