Continuing to bring a new kind of Nobu energy to the region, Nobu One Za’abeel has unveiled its new menu ‘Lunch Above the City’, available Friday to Sunday, designed to suit everyone, whether looking for a new business lunch, a quick bite, or a relaxing and indulgent afternoon.
Located within The Link, the new offer continues to showcase the brand’s iconic Japanese cuisine infused with Peruvian influences in a striking setting, combining breathtaking views of the city, sleek design and Nobu’s unmistakable culinary philosophy of the acclaimed chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Putting the power of time in the hands of the guests, the new offering presents the choice of a curated set lunch menu or the flexibility of an à la carte selection. Delivering the perfect balance of speed and sophistication, the experience showcases a thoughtfully curated selection of Nobu’s globally celebrated signature dishes.
Priced at AED 159 per person, the set lunch menu begins with a selection of welcome bites, followed by a choice of starter, main course with a side dish, and dessert – each beautifully presented in classic Nobu style.
Guests are welcomed with signature bites including nori tacos with salmon spicy miso and crispy squid with truffle aji amarillo, setting the tone for a menu rooted in bold flavours and refined technique. Starters offer a diverse selection, where guests can select one dish from the extensive options, including the ‘white fish dry miso’, ‘salmon tataki jalapeño’, ‘seafood ceviche’, ‘crispy shiitake salad’, ‘Nobu style Caesar salad’, the tender ‘eggplant tofu goma’, as well as premium dishes, including the famous ‘yellowtail jalapeño’ which is available as a supplement.
For the main course, guests can choose from a wide variety of Nobu signatures and contemporary creations. Highlights include the world-renowned ‘assorted sushi and roll’ served with miso soup as well as other classics, including ‘grilled salmon with ikura yuzu butter’, ‘umami baby chicken’, ‘short ribs with wasabi salsa’, and ‘duck breast with orange miso’. Vegetarians are well-catered for with a selection of dishes including the ‘cauliflower jalapeño’ and ‘tofu honey anticucho’. It wouldn’t be a true Nobu experience without the world-renowned ‘black cod miso’, which is available as a supplement. Each main is complemented by a side of truffle rice, adding a rich and aromatic finish to the savoury courses.
