Al Nabooda Automobiles Volkswagen announces 19% increase in sales over Ramadan compared with previous year

Al Nabooda Automobiles, the distributor of Volkswagen in Dubai and Northern Emirates has announced a 19% increase insales during Ramadan compared with the same season in the previous year. Volkswagen Dubai will also extend the Ramadan offers until 31 August, following their recent popularity and success.

The sole distributor of Volkswagen in Dubai and the Northern Emirates confirmed the Volkswagen CC delivered the best Ramadan performance, with a year-on-year 88% increase in sales.

The Golf and Passat were also strong performers, with sales increasing by 71% and 44% respectively.

“Ramadan is traditionally one of our most successful months of the year in terms of sales and traffic in our showrooms, and we put a lot of thought and effort into giving our customers extra value.,” said Thierry Seys, General Manager, Volkswagen, Al Nabooda Automobiles.

“The performance also underlines the reputation of Volkswagen as a reliable,affordable and innovative brand underlined by German engineering, and this is something we continue tobuild on following the arrival of the iconic new Beetle earlier this year,” he continued.

Customers had the opportunity to choose from two offers during the Ramadan period, which will now continue until 31 August. The first, the Value Package Offer features one year free insurance, five years free service up to 75,000kms, five years road side assistance and warranty with unlimited mileage, a four month deferred payment option, a Pro-Tech gift and petrol card voucher worth AED500.

The second option, available exclusively to Volkswagen Dubai and Northern Emirates customers, includes discounts of up to AED22,000, five years free warranty with unlimited mileage, three years free service up to 45,000kms and three years road side assistance.

The offers exclude the Golf R, GTI, Beetle and Tiguan 1.4L. The Ramadan packages are available at the Volkswagen showrooms in Dubai, on Sheikh Zayed Road and Deira, and in Sharjah and Fujairah.
