Breakbulk Middle East 2015 Brings Projects Meets Logistics Event to UAE

The 2000 project cargo and traditional breakbulk cargo logisticians and distinguished sponsors and exhibitors will take part in the First Annual Breakbulk Middle East Conference & Exhibition from 25-28 October 2015 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC, Hall 6) under the theme Projects Meets Logistics.

Similar to Breakbulk Americas 2015 held in Houston, Texas, from October 5-8, the upcoming event will attract logisticians from around the globe, creating a fertile environment for global cargo connections and business development.

At Breakbulk Middle East, project cargo and traditional breakbulk cargo owners have the opportunity to learn about the latest industry trends and to meet and develop relationships with the leading specialised carriers, freight forwarders, ports/ terminals, packers and equipment companies that have the expertise to handle oversized cargoes requiring unique handling techniques.

Educational activities include the Heavy Lifting & Transport MasterClass and Breakbulk Education Day for Students & Industry Freshmen. In addition, a new micro-seminar on Chartering has been added to teach best practices in transport and logistics. The conference presentations are open to all delegates and will be held on the Breakbulk Middle East Exhibition Floor. The sessions will provide executive-level strategy, data, analysis and trending information.

Kearney Energy Practice Middle East; Sadara Organizing The World’s Greatest Petrochemical Logistics Puzzle moderated by Ken Long, Country Head of Energy Solutions KSA & BAH, Panalpina World Transport Saudi Arabia; On Track Rail Boom in the UAE and GCC moderated by Teresa Lehovd, Head of Market Intelligence, Hoegh Autoliners; Keynote Day 2: Global Heavy Lift and MPV Fleet Update presented by Susan Oatway, Senior Analyst, Drewry Shipping Consultants; Doing Business in Saudi Arabia moderated by Corey Henry, Senior Logistics Specialist, CB&I Oil & Gas; Micro-Seminar: Marine Contracts of Carriage Overview, Elements and Negotiation taught by Greg Gowans, Director, Logistics and Expediting, CH2M Hill; Modules Super Session, Section I End User/EPC Decision Strategies & Modules Super Session, Section II Transport Decisions moderated by Cyril Joseph Varghese, Global Logistics Director-Commercial, Fluor Corporation.

Breakbulk Middle East is one of six annual specialised transportation events organised by Breakbulk Events & Media, a division of ITE Group. Major exhibitions include Breakbulk China, Breakbulk Europe, Breakbulk Americas. Breakbulk Events also organizes targeted conferences in South Africa and Russia.
