The U.A.E. is to participate in the 18th China International Fair for Investment and Trade, CIFIT, which will take place from September 8th-11th, at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Centre (XICEC).
CIFIT, organised by China’s Ministry of Commerce focuses on investment negotiation and investment policy promotion, coordinated development of national and regional economy, as well as economic and trade exchanges across the Taiwan Strait.
The U.A.E.’s delegation will be led by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and delegates include Abdullah Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade and Industry, a number of officials from the Ministry of Economy and federal and local government agencies, and representatives from investment institutions, as well as the private sector and exhibitors.
Al Mansouri said that participation in CIFIT is of particular importance in the light of the remarkable development of Emirates-Chinese bilateral relations, especially on the economic, trade and investment levels.
He added that participating in the exhibition will contribute to strengthening the trade partnership, which is becoming increasingly important between the U.A.E. and China, saying that the exhibition coincides with the passage of 35 years since relations were established between the two friendly countries.
