Abu Dhabi is set to host the International Real Estate and Investment Show (IREIS 2026) from 17th to 19th September at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), bringing together leading real estate developers, investors, financial institutions, and buyers as the UAE property market continues its strong growth trajectory.
Approved by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), IREIS 2026 will serve as the emirate’s largest real estate sales exhibition, highlighting investment opportunities across the UAE’s rapidly expanding property sector.
The event comes amid significant momentum in Abu Dhabi’s real estate market. Data from the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) showed that the value of real estate transactions increased by 76.6% to AED203.01 billion during the 12 months ending 30th June 2026, while the number of transactions rose by 64.53% to 53,177.
During the first half of 2026, property sales in Abu Dhabi reached AED88.25 billion, compared with AED93.34 billion recorded throughout the whole of 2025. Meanwhile, total real estate transaction values reached AED121.90 billion, compared with AED142.21 billion in the previous year.
The sector’s growth is supported by a large pipeline of development projects valued at AED2.78 trillion (US$758 billion), spanning various stages of planning, construction, and development, according to BNC Network.
The report highlighted that Abu Dhabi’s active construction portfolio exceeds AED477 billion (US$130 billion), backed by more than 38,600 active licences. The portfolio includes infrastructure initiatives valued at over AED200 billion under the Abu Dhabi Plan for Infrastructure, as well as a public-private partnership pipeline worth AED55 billion.
IREIS 2026 will feature investment opportunities across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and other emerging markets, reflecting the increasing interest among investors in diversifying their real estate portfolios across the UAE. The exhibition will also provide a platform for developers from across the country to connect with investors and strengthen their presence in Abu Dhabi, which continues to grow as a major property investment destination.
While Dubai remains a key driver of regional real estate activity through its residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, Abu Dhabi’s stable economy, population growth, and long-term investment strategies continue to attract investor confidence. Other emirates, including Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah, are also gaining attention for affordable housing, waterfront projects, hospitality developments, and lifestyle-focused communities.
Positioned as a sales-driven real estate marketplace, IREIS 2026 will enable direct engagement between developers and investors, allowing property transactions, reservations, and investment decisions to take place during the exhibition. Participants will have access to exclusive offers, flexible payment options, and a wide range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
The event will also feature a high-level conference bringing together government officials, developers, financial institutions, economists, and industry leaders to discuss key trends shaping the future of real estate. Topics will include investment opportunities, sustainable infrastructure, PropTech, fractional ownership, foreign direct investment, economic diversification, UAE-Europe investment links, banking and real estate growth, and the evolving role of property brokerage.
The exhibition aligns with the UAE’s broader efforts to attract international investment, strengthen economic diversification, and foster collaboration between developers, financial institutions, and global investors. It also reinforces the country’s position as one of the world’s most attractive and resilient real estate markets.
Arun Bose of IREIS said the exhibition has evolved into a major UAE real estate marketplace, connecting developers with serious investors and showcasing opportunities across all emirates.
He noted that Abu Dhabi-based investors are increasingly expanding their portfolios across the UAE, while developers are recognising the capital’s growing importance as an investment hub. IREIS 2026 aims to bring these opportunities together, supporting property sales, investment activity, and strategic partnerships under one platform.
