It warned that further escalation would only heighten tensions and instability, outcomes that serve neither regional nor global interests.
In its statement, the ministry also highlighted the critical need to restore international maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to its normal conditions as they existed prior to February 28. It underscored the necessity of ensuring the safe, secure, and uninterrupted passage of vessels through this vital waterway, free from any restrictions or threats that could disrupt global trade and energy supplies.
