
His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, held talks in Jeddah today with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a meeting that underscored the growing engagement between the two countries on both bilateral and global issues.
During the discussions, the two leaders reviewed the state of Saudi-Ukrainian relations and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors. They also exchanged views on a range of pressing regional and international developments, with particular emphasis on the ongoing military escalation in the Middle East and the latest developments in the Ukrainian crisis. The talks reflected shared concerns over regional stability and the broader implications of continued conflict on global security, energy markets, and humanitarian conditions.
The meeting brought together senior officials from both sides. Representing Saudi Arabia were Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley; President of the General Intelligence Presidency Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan; and Saudi Ambassador to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Barakah.
The Ukrainian delegation included Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov; First Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Serhii Kyslytsia; Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Andriy Hnatov; Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom Anatolii Petrenko; and Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Davyd Aloyan.
The meeting highlighted ongoing diplomatic coordination and consultation between Riyadh and Kyiv, as both sides continue to engage on key geopolitical developments and seek avenues for dialogue and stability amid evolving regional and international challenges.
