Saudi Ministry of Defense spokesperson Turki Al-Maliki, a major general, announced that six ballistic missiles launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base were successfully intercepted and destroyed by Saudi air defense systems.
According to a report by the state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the missiles were detected and neutralized before reaching their intended target, preventing potential damage to the strategic military facility. The spokesperson said the interception demonstrated the effectiveness of the Kingdom’s air defense capabilities in countering aerial threats and safeguarding key installations.
