
Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Defence, reported that three cruise missiles were successfully intercepted and destroyed before reaching their targets. The missiles were neutralized outside the city of Al-Kharj, which lies southeast of Riyadh, the Saudi capital. The spokesman emphasized that the kingdom’s air defense systems responded promptly to the threat, ensuring the safety of civilians and critical infrastructure in the area.
