A new chapter in Dubai’s social scene is set to unfold with the launch of Bondz, a contemporary speakeasy-inspired executive lounge opening at Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC.
Created as the passion project of founder Ashish Agrawal, Bondz is more than just another nightlife destination. Envisioned as a “living room outside your home”, the venue has been thoughtfully designed as a welcoming retreat where professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives and city dwellers can work, connect, unwind and build meaningful relationships over exceptional food, handcrafted drinks and shared experiences.
The name Bondz reflects this very philosophy—representing the bonds people form over time, conversation, and shared moments. Whether colleagues are catching up after work, entrepreneurs are exchanging ideas, or friends are gathering to unwind, the space has been designed to naturally foster connection in an environment that feels personal, relaxed, and unpretentious.
To bring this vision to life, Ashish has joined forces with Nitesh Manghnani, who comes on board as Experience Curator. With more than a decade of experience across hospitality, nightlife and entertainment, Nitesh has played a key role in developing several successful hospitality and nightlife concepts in Dubai. At Bondz, he has curated the overall guest journey—from the ambience and music to the service philosophy and social energy—creating a destination that effortlessly transitions from productive afternoons to vibrant evenings.
Having spent years in the banking and financial services sector, Ashish understood the need for a venue that could seamlessly adapt throughout the day while maintaining an atmosphere that feels intimate, refined, and inviting.
“After spending years in the corporate world, I wanted to create a space where people could step away from the pace of everyday life and feel instantly at ease,” said Ashish Agrawal, founder of Bondz. “Whether you’re hosting a business meeting, catching up with friends or simply unwinding after work, Bondz is designed to adapt to the moment. With limited seating, we’ve intentionally created a venue that feels personal and relaxed while delivering the elevated experience people expect in DIFC. It’s a place where work naturally flows into socialising and every guest feels like they’re among familiar faces.”
Nestled within Emirates Financial Tower, Bondz blends the intrigue of a modern speakeasy with the sophistication of an executive lounge. Rich wood panelling, warm ambient lighting, plush leather seating and bespoke design details create an inviting environment, while statement ceiling installations and intimate seating arrangements encourage guests to settle in and enjoy the experience at their own pace.
One of the venue’s defining features is its versatility. From 12pm to 4pm, Bondz transforms into a relaxed co-working and networking destination, offering professionals an ideal setting for meetings, remote working and casual business catch-ups. As the day progresses, the venue naturally evolves into a vibrant evening lounge where signature cocktails, curated music and a lively yet intimate ambience set the tone for after-work gatherings and social evenings.
Leading the culinary experience is Executive Chef Brando Del Mundo, whose globally inspired menu showcases contemporary flavours with a focus on comfort dining. From Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Salmon Tataki and Hamachi Ceviche to handcrafted sushi rolls, flavourful bao buns, tacos, sliders, and premium sharing plates, the menu has been thoughtfully curated to encourage leisurely dining and shared moments around the table.
Complementing the culinary offering is a thoughtfully crafted beverage programme featuring signature cocktails, timeless classics, premium spirits, and an extensive wine selection. Every element has been carefully designed to elevate the experience, encouraging guests to linger longer and enjoy the moment. A standout highlight is Bondz’s experiential cocktail menu. More than just a drinks list, it is a sensory journey that reflects the energy and evolution of Bondz from day to night.
Highlights include tropical, fruit-forward creations inspired by Southeast Asian markets, a pandan-and-coconut cocktail that transforms in texture as it melts, and a berry-forward serve topped with delicate foam for a light, playful finish.
