
King Saud bin Abdulaziz Airport in Al-Baha Region, operated by Cluster2 Airports, has welcomed nearly 700,000 passengers on domestic flights from the beginning of 2025 through the end of the first half of 2026, reflecting the airport’s continued role in supporting regional connectivity and facilitating domestic air travel.

The passenger figures highlight the airport’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency, improve service quality and strengthen its contribution to the Kingdom’s aviation sector. Through continued development of its facilities and passenger services, the airport aims to provide a smoother and more accessible travel experience for passengers.

In recognition of its commitment to improving the passenger journey, King Saud bin Abdulaziz Airport recently achieved the Level 1 Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation from the Airports Council International (ACI). The accreditation reflects the airport’s efforts to create a more inclusive environment and improve accessibility standards for travellers with diverse needs.


The airport also obtained the Level 2 Airport Customer Experience Accreditation from ACI, demonstrating its progress in implementing international best practices focused on passenger satisfaction, service improvement and overall travel experience.
These achievements underline King Saud Airport’s commitment to aligning with global aviation standards while supporting the broader objectives of Saudi Arabia’s aviation development strategy. The airport continues to focus on enhancing operational performance, adopting international benchmarks and delivering a high-quality experience for passengers travelling to and from the Al-Baha Region.
