Major General Turki Al-Malki, spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defence, confirmed that Saudi defence forces detected, intercepted, and destroyed 17 drones over the Eastern Region. He explained that the operation was carried out using advanced air defence systems to neutralize the unmanned aerial threats before they could cause any harm. The Ministry emphasized that the action reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding critical infrastructure and maintaining security across its territories.
