Etisalat launches data package for new Hemayati mobile app for child safety

Etisalat has introduced a new monthly post-paid and prepaid mobile data package for customers seeking to use the recently launched ‘Hemayati’ mobile app that tracks children’s location and movement for protection and safety reasons.

A single ‘Hemayati’ data package subscription of AED 49 per month from Etisalat can be used for all family members.

The new Hemayati mobile app launched by Ministry of Interior (MoI), helps parents track their children’s location in case of emergencies or for children to send a distress call to their parents when they feel threatened. It also allows parents to install time of arrival and exit from school, and in case of delay, parents or family members are notified via the application.

The application is available for free download in the UAE from Apple Store for iOS platforms on iPhone and iPad, and from Google Play for Android smartphones and tablets. The app can be activated only by parents.
