Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) has signed an agreement with Mali to lend it KD 5.8 million (some USD 20 million).
The accord, designed to contribute to funding renovation of Bamako-Senou Airport, was signed in Mali’s capital by the local minister of finance and Hamad Al-Omar, KFAED’s deputy director-general, according to a statement released by the fund here on Tuesday.
The mega project envisages construction of a terminal, expansion of taxiing sections and building a parking lot.
