Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared photos and videos of his gruelling workout session in scorching heat in Dubai on Tuesday.
Sheikh Hamdan was seen riding a road bicycle with his friends around 11.30am on Tuesday.
The temperature was believed to be way over 40°C on Tuesday.
In a series of videos and photos Sheikh Hamdan wrote on Instagram, “No excuse” on the video and carried on with his pals on the trip.
A second clip appears to show the Crown Prince panning his camera to show his mates following him in the sunny trail.
It is believed that Sheikh Hamdan finished his training session around 12.43pm.
The Crown Prince burned 1,454 calories during the ride.
A video after the training shows an official pouring cold water on Sheikh Hamdan’s head as other mates look exhausted.
Hamdan later shared that he developed cramps from the training.
On the other hand, Sheikh Hamdan met UAE Team Emirates’ Tadej Pogacar, who claimed a second successive Tour de France title last week.
Sheikh Hamdan posted pictures of the meeting between the two on his Instagram account.
The photos show Hamdan and Pogacar posing with the Tour’s Yellow jersey at Nad Al Sheba.
The 22-year-old Slovenian rider was the youngest rider to wear the overall leader’s yellow jersey at the end of the race for two years running.
Recently, Pogacar, who was bidding to become the first cyclist to win the road race in the same year as the Tour, had to settle for bronze in a photo finish with Belgium’s silver medallist Wout van Aert at the Tokyo Games.
A sports enthusiast, the Crown Prince is an avid lover of nature and animals.
His videos and photos usually garner thousands and thousands of likes and comments on social media platforms.
He has over 12.1 million followers on his Instagram account.
Hamdan’s Instagram bio reads, “Every picture has a story and every story has a moment that I’d love to share with you. Thanks and enjoy.
