ADP wins 99 medals at ‘World Police and Fire Games’ in Canada

The World Police and Fire Games in Winnipeg, Canada, witnessed outstanding performances from the Abu Dhabi Police (ADP), which won 42 gold, 31 silver and 26 bronze medals.

Major Omran Ahmed Al Mazroui, Human Resources Sector Director at the ADP, congratulated the ADP team members for their remarkable achievements.

Major Al Mazroui said the team’s success was due to the wise leadership and guidance of Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Commander-in-Chief of the ADP, who trusted the police institution’s exceptional human talents, which boosted their morale and encouraged them to pursue further achievements and records at local and international championships.

Brigadier Essam Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Police Sports Education Centre, said the police leadership’s support advanced the sports system and led to these positive results.

He then lauded the athletes for their dedication to physical training, which enabled them to maintain their excellence and achieve more sporting successes at local, regional and international levels.

He also congratulated the ADP team members for their sporting excellence and thanked the police leadership for their constant support and guidance, which enabled the ADP teams to overcome all challenges and encouraged them to achieve sporting excellence.
