Reinforces Presence in Dubai Festival City Mall with Simultaneous Launch of Centrepoint, Max and Emax
Landmark Group, the region’s leading retail and hospitality conglomerate, aims to open 50 new stores across the UAE by end-2015 taking the consolidated store count in the country to over 550 and total retail area to almost eight million square feet.
The announcement was made at a media briefing ahead of the launch of three new stores at Dubai Festival City Mall (DFCM). The popular creek-side mixed-use destination developed by Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate has now opened doors to Landmark Group’s popular concepts Centrepoint, Max and Emax spanning 100,000 square feet of retail space across two floors.

Centrepoint, which celebrated the launch of its 100th store a few months ago, houses four of the Group’s most popular concepts – Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle and Shoe Mart. Max is the largest value fashion brand in the Middle East, North Africa and India, while Emax Electronics is the largest electronics retail chain in the Middle East with outlets across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. The concepts have evolved as household names in their respective categories in all territories where they have their presence.
