Kuwait seeks to cement parliamentary ties with Albania

A delegation representing the Kuwaiti National Assembly (Parliament) has begun a visit to Albania for talks on means of boosting bilateral ties and mutual cooperation in diverse realms.
The delegation, headed by the National Assembly Supervisor, MP Saud Neshmi Al-Huraiji, was received upon arrival in the Albanian capital, Tirana, by the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Republic, Nejib Abdulrahman Al-Bader, embassy staff and a number of leading Albanian legislators.
Ambassador Al-Bader said in a statement the Kuwaiti lawmakers would meet, during the visit, with Albanian President Bujar Nishani, Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta, Prime Minister Edi Rama and other senior leaders.
The scheduled talks with the ranking officials will tackle means of boosting mutual cooperation at the parliamentary level, in a manner that may help in cementing the bonds of friendship, as well as elevating the level of the bilateral ties between the two countries, Ambassador Al-Bader added.
