A Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) delegation, led by KCCI Chairman Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim, has arrived here for a three-day visit to Tunisia where its members are scheduled to hold talks with Tunisian Federation of Industry, Commerce, and Handicrafts officials.
During their stay here, they are also expected to hold talks with Tunisia’s Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki and Prime Minister Mehdi Joma, together with businessmen and investors.
In a statement to KUNA upon arrival, the KCCI chairman said he and his delegation are here at the invitation of the Turkish president and prime minister in order to discuss closer economic cooperation between both Arab nations.
He said economic relations between Kuwait and Tunisia should be up to the level of bilateral distinguished political ties.
Al-Ghanim voiced hope that the tour would come up with “favorable results” that could serve the mutual interest of both nations.
