Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan received here on Monday Japanese Minister of State for Economic and Fiscal Policy Akira Amari who is currently visiting the UAE.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the Japanese minister and his accompanying delegation and praised the progressive ties between the two countries. He also expressed the hope that the visit would further strengthen bilateral relations in all fields, particularly economic, commercial and energy domains.
The meeting touched on ways to enhance relations within the framework of strategic partnership and exchange of visits by officials of the two countries.
Minister Amari lauded deep-rooted ties between the two countries and underlined UAE’s role in economic, commercial, investment and renewable energy sectors.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith, Ambassador of Japan to the UAE Yoshihiko Kamo and other officials.
