MATCHESFASHION is delighted to launch Saved NY’s latest collection in collaboration with Illustrator, Fee Greening. Brooklyn-based artist and designer Sean McNanney have collaborated with illustrator Fee Greening on a collection of 12 cushions inspired by a mix of sources including cabinets of curiosities and Medieval, gothic, and Flemish art.
Textile designer, Sean McNanney combines influences from nomadic culture to Victorian ephemera and French ironwork for his label Saved NY. Drawing on his background in textiles, the designer employs responsibly sourced materials such as Mongolian Yak down, camel hair and cashmere, and each piece is woven or knitted by hand in Mongolia by a team of skilled craftsmen.
