Water and climate company, Grundfos, has responded to the growing COVID-19 crisis with a free online learning program starting 30th March 2020.
With 6 interactive webinars, the program focuses on a range of water-related topics that are not only vital to a sustainable future but will take on increasing importance as homes and businesses struggle to return to normal when the global crisis finally comes under control.
Designed to appeal to everyone, from industry professionals to students and anyone remotely involved in pumps and water systems, the webinars will help engineers, consultants and contractors keep their professional skills on track and keep their knowledge and competencies up to date. They will also help end-users and other non-professionals to understand the way that new technology is now driving developments in water distribution and treatment.
The learning program, hosted by Grundfos’ experts, is tailored to meet the needs of people at every level and will provide additional benefits for industry professionals as it carries full CPD (Continuous Professional Development) accreditation. This encourages professionals to maintain their qualifications and continuously update skills, supporting career development.
Commenting at the launch of the program, Kostas Poulopoulos, General Manager of Grundfos Gulf, said, “We are in the grip of an unprecedented global crisis, but we can’t afford to sit back. Now is the time to adapt and continue supporting our partners and customers in the best way possible. We have replaced our face to face trainings with a series of webinars, offering a safe way for all of us to continue learning.”
