Majid Al Futtaim has announced that Dreamscape, the immersive VR destination at Mall of the Emirates, Magic Planet, Little Explorers and iFly Dubai have reopened in compliance with the recent ruling by the Dubai Economy.

The announcement follows further reopenings of Majid Al Futtaim’s entertainment experiences across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Lebanon.

All brands have undertaken extensive precautionary measures and put in place an all-encompassing sanitisation and physical distancing plan. During the temporary closures, Majid Al Futtaim also conducted extensive research to identify the top safety measures that would make guests feel comfortable about returning to its entertainment concepts and used the findings to proactively reimagine the guest experience.

Cameron Mitchell, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Leisure & Entertainment says, “Following the reopening of Magic Planet in Ajman earlier this week, I am delighted that Dreamscape, Magic Planet, Little Explorers and iFly Dubai will now reopen in Dubai in compliance with government guidelines. Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that we can safely reopen and we have proactively introduced innovative new measures to allay any concerns that our guests may have. We are excited, prepared and ready to welcome back our guests and employees and look forward to reopening more of our entertainment experiences across the region as restrictions are eased.”

Safe distancing ambassadors have been introduced and instructional signage has been installed to guide guests on best physical distancing practices. Guests are encouraged to enjoy a queue-less experience by advance booking their tickets and top-ups online. To further minimise physical contact and exposure, contactless payment options are available.

There are also extensive measures in place to ensure that the highest levels of food safety are maintained. Employees will be following strict safety protocols which include sanitising of workstations and countertops every 30 minutes and washing their hands at least every 20 minutes and before handling food.
