Grub app has launched in Dubai. The platform offers flat-rate mobile food delivery for local restaurants and wholesalers.
The mobile app is offering venues 0% commission for the first six months if they sign up during the launch month. The Grub concept has been in the pipeline for the past 18 months, during this time all of the integrations have undergone testing by restaurant owners.
The app is set to soft launch in the BETA phase. Unlike most delivery platforms, Grub will begin operations while only taking a AED 1 success fee per order.
Restaurants have creative control over their pages, whereby they can upload all their content and control discounts and offers themselves. Additionally, they can map their delivery areas and use their drivers or, at a cost, opt to use a third-party driver as an option from the app.
For customers, Grub is a free mobile food-ordering application available on iOS and Android.
