The Tunisian capital is poised to play host to a new round of the Tunisia-Gulf Investment Forum between May 5-6.
The gathering will attract businessmen, investors and senior officials from Tunisia and the six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, Tunisia’s Tunisian Union for Commerce, Industry and Handicrafts said in a release here on Saturday.
The event is mainly meant to promote the business and investment climate and available opportunities provided to business leaders of the Gulf region, the union said.
Several Islamic and Arab banking and financial groups will make presentations on their experience in the field of bankrolling and guaranteeing development projects in Tunisia, it added.
Tunisian officials are also expected to expound on available investment opportunities in the realms of infrastructure, transport, communications, sea transport, goods transport, education, health and housing, the union pointed out.
