Qatar Stock Exchange index dipped 70.19 points (-0.53%) Wednesday when trading closed at 13,103.45 points.
The trading value reached QR 583.532 million with a volume of 15,456,566 shares from 7,004 transactions today.
Today 42 from the 43 listed companies were traded. From these 19 declined, 17 made gains, and six remained unchanged.
Doha Insurance was the top gainer today, up 5.56% to QR 28.50 while Qatar National Bank led the losers, down -3% to QR 178 from Tuesday’s close at QR 183.50.
Qatari individual investors bought a volume of 8,213,977 shares of 41 companies for a value of QR 249.304 million, or 42.72% of the total shares bought today.
Qatari individual investors sold a volume of 8,230,326 shares of 42 companies for a value of QR 261.734 million, or 44.85% of the total shares sold today.
Qatari institutional investors bought a volume of 2,824,504 shares of 34 companies for a value of QR114.324 million, or 19.59% of the total shares bought today.
Qatari institutional investors sold a volume of 3,184.488 shares of 31 companies for a value of QR 116.894 million, or 20.03% of the total shares sold today.
