Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 523.69 points (+4.05%) this week when the bourse closed Thursday at 13,465.69 points.
The trading value of QR 2,889,956,605.31 this week is an increase by 2.17% compared to QR 2,828,502,582.23 last week.
The trading volume of 60,071,165 shares is an increase by 12.06% compared to 53,608,447 shares while the 30,539 transactions is a rise by 5.07%, compared to 29,066 transactions last week.
The market capitalization of QR 726.545 Billion is an increase by 3.88% compared to QR 699.385 Billion at the end of previous week.
Banks and financial services led the traded value this week with 38.05% of the total traded value. Industries accounted for 24.54%. Real estate accounted for 19.12%, and consumer goods and services accounted for 7.35%.
Real estate led the traded volume this week with 40.96% of the total traded volume. Banks and financial services accounted for 26.07%. Industries accounted for 12.12%, and consumer goods and services accounted for 7.90%.
Banks and financial services topped the number transactions with 30.84% of the total transactions. Industries accounted for 28.04%. Real estate accounted for 20.30%, and consumer goods and services accounted for 8.07%.
From the 43 listed companies, 35 ended this week higher, seven fell and one remained unchanged.
Masraf Al Rayan topped the traded value this week with 11.36% of the total traded value, Qatar National Bank accounted for 8.74% and Ezdan Holding Group accounted for 8.57%.
