Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 217.69 points or -1.90% when it closed at 11,221.61 points on Sunday.
The daily turnover increased to QR 243.18 Million with a volume of 5,230,107 shares from 3,193 deals compared with QR 208.635 Million with a volume of 4,793,641 shares from 2,691 deals on Thursday.
Indices of all seven sectors ended in the red with telecoms index dropping the most by 2.97%.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -1.90% to 17,442.38 points. QE Al Rayan Islamic Index decreased -2.09% to 4,237.3 points.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 38 saw trading today, from these one gained, 36 dropped and one remained unchanged today.
