Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped 10.7.51 points (-0.84%) Sunday when the bourse closed trading at 12,640.67 points.
Indices of all sectors ended in the red zone today, barring telecommunications (+0.59%) and transport (+0.29%) sectors.
Insurance index dropped the most today, down -1.26% to 3,739.44 points while industries declined by -1.14% to 4,184.4 points.
The trading value dropped to QR 291.688 Million from QR 565.59 Million registered Thursday.
The trading volume declined to 5,651,607 shares from 3,628 transactions compared to 9,643,883 shares from 5,746 transactions on Thursday.
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 40 exchanged hands today. From these, 11 gained, 26 went down, and three remained unchanged.
Ooredoo share gained +0.43% when it closed at QR 118 today while Vodafone Qatar was up +1.12% to QR 17.21.
From transport sector, Gulf Warehousing Company share gained +3.54% (QR 2.10) when it closed at QR 61.50.
Barwa was the only real estate company to gain today, up +0.66% to QR 46.10.
