The Qatar Exchange gained 24.89 points or 0.21% as it closed Tuesday at 11,936.58 points up from the previous closing of 11,911.69.
The volume of shares traded up to 10,871,675 from 10,651,756 Sunday, and the value of shares decreased to QR537,282,437.65 from QR681,342,778.34.
Among the top gainers were Qatar Islamic Bank whose share added 0.86% to QR 106.00 and Comm. Bank of Qatar with 2.23% rose to QR 68.90 per share. Electricity & Water was up 1.94% to QR 189.00 and Ooredoo increased 1.21% to QR 116.70.
The industries sector fell 0.06% to 3,777.69 points while banking and services sector was adding 0.64% to 3,191.94 points. Real estate sector down 1.21 % to 2,193.4 points while insurance sector lost 0.75% to 3,741.71 points.
