The Qatar Exchange dropped 59.15 points or 0.50% as it closed Wednesday at 11,877.43 points up from the previous closing of 11,936.58.
The volume of shares traded fell to 9,130,509 from 10,871,675 Tuesday, and the value of shares increased to QR618,898,896.88 from QR537,282,437.65 . Among the top losers were QNB whose share dropped 2.14% to QR 205.50 and Comm. Bank of Qatar with 0.29% down to QR 68.70 per share. Masraf Al Rayan was up 1.82% to QR 44.80 and Qatar Islamic Bank increased 0.94% to QR 107.00.
The industries sector fell 0.64% to 3,753.49 points while consumer goods and services sector was adding 0.28% to 6,924.47 points. Telecom sector down 0.73% to 1,373.64 points.
