
The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Wednesday at 12,100.93 points (1.81%) down 222.52 points from the previous closing of 12,323.45 points on Tuesday.
The volume of shares was up to 11,307,496 from Tuesday 8,412,167 and the value of shares increased to QR579,999,798.38 from QR458,780,579.24 on Tuesday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share down 3.25% to QR166.50, Industries Qatar lost 2.58% to QR170.00, Qatar Islamic Bank fell 5.33% to QR85.20 and Vodafone Qatar decreased by 3.53% to QR18.86.
